Read 180
Course Description This elective course is taught in conjunction with the required English 9 or English 10 making it a full year course designed for students who are reading below grade level. Students are placed in this course based on reading skill test performance. Read 180 teaches reading skills through high interest materials in a rotating setting of large group instruction, small group instruction, computer practice and independent reading. The course has a limited number of seats, and students are placed in this course based on decisions made by the reading specialist and teachers.
