Pre-Calculus with Trigonometry (234201)
Pre-Calculus with Trigonometry Honors (233111)
Course Description Trigonometry and advanced algebra are studied in Pre-Calculus with Trigonometry. Topics include sequences and series, coordinate geometry of points, lines, and conic sections, inequalities and their graphs, functions, trigonometry - circle and triangle, exponents and logarithms, graphs of functions, techniques of equation solving, trigonometric formulas, complex numbers, advanced topics in curve sketching, polar graphing, and limits.

In addition, Pre-Calculus with Trigonometry (Honors) will emphasize theory and the derivation of formulas. Pre-Calculus (Honors) continues the sequence from Algebra II (Honors) through Calculus.

Prerequisite for Precalculus with Trigonometry:
Algebra II and Geometry
Prerequisite for Precalculus with Trigonometry (Honors):
Grade of "B" or better in Algebra II (Honors) and Geometry (Honors)
