Calculus I A (234181)
Calculus I B (234191)
Course Description This is an intensive calculus study that has two parts: A.P. Calculus I (A) and A.P. Calculus I (B). Students must register for both courses to be taken consecutively during the fall and spring semesters of the school year to complete all of the advanced placement objectives by May. Completion of both parts (A and B) will adequately prepare students for the Advanced Placement Calculus AB Test. Students who successfully complete part A will receive one credit for the study of calculus topics in the Cartesian plane and functions, limits and continuity, and differentiation with curve sketching. Students who successfully complete part B will receive one credit for their study of calculus topics related to integration and transcendental functions (logarithmic, exponential, and trigonometric). A college-level textbook is used.

Prerequisite:
Grade of "B" or better in either Pre-Calculus (Honors)
Calculus I (234101)
Calculus II (234121)
Course Description AP Calculus I (AB) and AP Calculus II (BC) is a year-long study that has two parts, AB taken in the fall and BC taken in the spring. It will prepare students for either the AP Calculus AB test or the more challenging AP Calculus BC test which is taken in May. A college-level textbook is used in both courses.

AP Calculus I (AB) includes the study of calculus topics in the Cartesian plane and functions, limits and continuity, differentiation with curve sketching, integration, transcendental functions (logarithmic, exponential, and trigonometric), and techniques of integration. Completion of this course will adequately prepare students for the Advanced Placement Calculus AB Test.

AP Calculus II (BC) continues the study of limits, derivatives, and integration with additional study in functions, polar coordinates, parametric equations and vectors in the plane, infinite series, and differential equations. With careful review of calculus topics from the first course, completion of this course will adequately prepare students for the Advanced Placement Calculus BC Test.

Prerequisite:
Grade of "B" or better in either Pre-Calculus (Honors)
Calculus III (234131)
Course Description This course is a third year of calculus that continues the study of limits, derivatives, and integration with additional study in differential equations. A college level textbook is used.

Prerequisite:
Calculus II (BC)
