Course Description This course is designed to teach students specific skills in the organization of architectural drawings, lettering and symbols, elements of a house, plans, elevations and sections, architectural details, wall sections, and working drawings. Students will draw a full set of architectural plans. In level II, students produce additional detail drawings: floor and ceiling framing, doors and windows, stairs, chimneys and heating ducts, electrical plans, and built-in installations. Students will design their own structures and make the necessary construction drawings.

Successful completion of Level II of this course will provide one credit of the Advanced Technology Education requirement.

The A option is intended to coordinate with the Graduation Project in extending the research and project development beyond the typical Architectural Drawing course.
