Advanced Placement Government and Politics: United States (164051)

Course Description

This course is for students with a strong academic background and an interest in the American political system. After an introduction to the Constitution and the federal system, students study major processes, organizations, and institutions related to our national government; the media, interest groups, lobbies, etc. Students regularly practice the types of analytical and written communication skills necessary for the examination from Educational Testing Service and for college.
